Last night was our first time at TFT. The food was top class - well conceived and executed, beautifully presented. Service was second-to-none. Our waiter combined expert knowledge, great banter and unpretentious attentiveness. The atmosphere was just right too - buzzy but not so much that it overshadowed table talk.

Thanks for an absolute treat of a night.

After an initial visit early in 2002 I was bowled over by the cuisine and service. The French Table has become a regular (some say too regular!) haunt for lunch and dinner. Never ceases to be sublime and there are no other restaurants in the area to match it. C'est magnifique! Keep up the good work.

My husband and I visited TFT on 5th June. It was his 40th birthday so I thought we'd try somewhere really nice. We were not disappointed. I made the booking on the phone and received email confirmation the same day. I mentioned in passing that it was my husband's birthday. I received a phone call the day before to confirm my reservation - which was good. When we arrived, the table was prepared with delicate table decoration which I thought was great considering I'd only mentioned in passing that it was my husband's birthday. After an absolutely fantastic meal and attentive service, a decorative Happy Birthday treat came with candle. I was delighted with the whole dealing with TFT and would definitely recommend it. Fantastic !

As frequent diners at the french table, who have eaten at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we think we are lucky to have a restaurant of such high quality on our own doorstep. The food is sublime especially the trio of pork belly,a personal favourite of mine. The service is warm and attentive, i embarrassingly dropped my wine once, smashing glass over my partners food, the staff with no fuss what so ever cleared the whole table, reset it and bought out two fresh plates of food and even gave us a free glass of wine each to compensate for one i had smashed. Now that that is a sign of a restaurant that makes every customer feel special!

With a sublime menu, excellent service and a winelist to match offered here in Surbiton, why would we ever want to pay over-inflated London prices again! I have never felt so confident taking guests out for dinner as when bringing them here.

I think both restaurant were very good shame that yours has been let down by the puddings(I've seen that film before)Don't worry about the whole winning & losing scenario because the answer machine will be crazy, your email near to crash at any time, business in general: incredible. Personally I can't tell which day of the week it is because it feel always saturday.get seriously ready-holidays are over .

Just wanted to say how nice the French Tarte is. It is always relaxing, even when it's busy. Plus, you are very child friendly, nice and low key but it feels really welcoming. Well done. 

Had a great time at the Bread Masterclass.  Michel put everyone at ease and gave us all confidence.  The kids devoured the butter rolls I took home and my wife is so excited at the prospect of my bread making.  Thought it was a great thing to end with the little tasting session.  Look forward to visiting the restaurant again soon.

One of the best restaurants we have dined at in the World. Great value for money when considering the quality, especially on a Sunday when they offer a 3 course set menu for £17!

The service is personal and excellent, the food superb and a carefully chosen wine list. The deserts are amazing for those of you who have a sweet tooth.
