Due to popular demand, Balfour Wines have offered us a second date for more to enjoy our special English Wine Dinner.

The Good Food Guide’s 100 Best Local Restaurants is back for 2025 and looking to find the very best local, independent restaurants across the country.

Our restaurant will open for lunch on Mother’s Day with a special 3 course menu, £65 per person. There will be two sittings for this extra special day with 1st sitting 12-2pm and 2nd sitting at 2.30/2.45pm.

You’ve been very quick to show your love and appreciation this Valentine’s Day as dinner is already full. We still have space to welcome you for lunch on Friday 14th AND our special Valentine’s Day Dinner Menu will extend to Saturday 15th February (dinner only).

This month we acknowledged 7 years of Adam’s dedication to possibly the smallest restaurant bar in Surbiton. Thanks to the shared passion of Sarah and Adam, The French Table Wine List was yet again selected from over a thousand entrants, as one of only 298 establishments to be awarded the AA Notable Wine List Award.

The French Table, The French Tarte and the Tarte-in-the-Park will all close for a summer break from August 18th to September 3rd.

In celebration of another restaurant anniversary (23, for those who like to keep count!), we are delighted to announce a new lunch menu option inspired by our many years on Maple Road.

Father’s Day will soon be here, and Sarah has curated a fabulous Gift Box including England’s only lager blended by winemakers at Balfour Winery.

Our next Cheese and Wine Evening will be wheely exciting as Sarah will be joined by special guest Fiona, a bike enthusiast who also worked on the soon-to-be-released 2nd Netflix series of ‘Tour De France: Unchained’.

We are now more than halfway through December, and we wanted to just take a moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  As ever, thank you for supporting our restaurant.

The French Table, The French Tarte and the Tarte in the Park will all be closed for a summer holiday from August 20th until September 5th.

The French Tarte and the Tarte in the Park will re-open on Wednesday 6th September, and The French Table will re-open on Wednesday 6th September in time for dinner service at 6.30pm.

A ginormous ‘Merci Beaucoup’ to everyone who voted for us in the Time & Leisure Food and Culture Awards 2023.  Winners were announced earlier this month and we were delighted to take home not one but TWO awards!

We are fully booked for our Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday 19th March but please let us know if you wish to be added to the waiting list.

We are well and truly back after our extended winter break and have really enjoyed reading all the very kind reviews you’ve been busy posting online.

December is often a time for reflection and as we look back over the past twelve months, we feel blessed that we are still going strong and feel ready for our 22nd year.
