We didn’t even ask you to vote this year. We thought we’d have a ‘fallow year’ from asking you all to vote – and yet you still voted, you lovely people. It was very special to be named finalists in categories for Best Service and Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year.
We’d also like to say a fond farewell to the very lovely Melanie at Time and Leisure. She has been a constant cheerleader of TFT, and we will miss hearing her cheery tone when she calls. Mel - if you see this, we wish you all the luck in the world with your next adventure!
Greeno Eats – Our first ever YouTuber visit
We were very happy to welcome Greeno to the restaurant last month - and even happier when we watched his review and heard his very kind comments. Thank you to him and his cameraman for being a pleasure to look after.

Finalists in Restaurant Wine List of the Year - IWC Industry Awards
Sarah and Adam entered the ‘International Wine Challenge Industry Awards’ for the first time so it was very rewarding to see them make the shortlist for ‘Restaurant Wine List of the Year.’
Results will be announced in early September - fingers crossed!

Summer Holiday
As always, TFT will close for a summer break in August. The French Table will be closed from August 17th to September 2nd. The restaurant will reopen on Wednesday 3rd September from dinner onwards.
The French Tarte will still be open on Sunday 17th August and will then close from August 18th to September 2nd and will reopen as usual on Wednesday 3rd September.
