Rhône Valley Wine Dinner | 8th October
Feeling spontaneous? Super short notice but we have a handful of places available for this month’s wine dinner celebrating wines from the Rhône region. Hosted by Sarah and good friend François of Vinothentic wines, enjoy listening to the stories of the wines and the winemakers. The menu;
Crispy snails in parsley and garlic butter with braised ox cheek, puy lentils, Côtes du Rhône red wine sauce
Roast halibut with coco de paimpol a la chou frise, fennel vinaigrette, quenelles de saint-jacques, lobster sauce
Roast loin of highland venison with celeriac and blue de Termignon purée, braised celery, walnut ketchup, venison tourte and sauce grand venuer
Bergamot custard tarte with earl grey tea meringue, ginger crumb, blackcurrant sorbet
Wednesday 8th October 7pm | £125 per person
Dine at 9pm | Special Offer

IWC Restaurant Wine List of the Year
Sarah and our sommelier Adam were invited to attend the International Wine Challenge Awards Dinner as Finalists in the Restaurant Wine List of the Year category. Our wine-loving pair had a very enjoyable evening at The Guildhall ‘networking’ with some of the very best in our industry.
Sarah and Adam shared a table with François of Vinothentic Wines, and his wife Mary of Wine at Home – their online wine shop below.
Also on their table were the winners of our category – ‘Corkage’ restaurant in Bath. Congratulations to the team - Lovely people and well worth putting on your list to visit!
December Reservations are Open
The French Table is open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner up until and including Wednesday 24th December. Please note that there is no classics menu option in December.

Christmas Eve
The French Table will open for lunch only on Christmas Eve with an extra special 3 course lunch menu, £65 per person. No other menus will be available on Christmas Eve. We expect demand to be high for tables so there will be a 2-hour time limit on tables of 1-4 people.
First sittings will be available at 12/12.15/12.30pm and second sittings will be available at 2.15/2.30/2.45pm.
Reservations for Christmas Eve cannot be made online. A deposit of £65 per person will be required by Friday 31st October which can be paid over the phone or in person.
Artisanal French Beers by Cap D'Ona
Cap D’Ona have won a ‘Best Beer’ award at every year since 2021. Cap D’Ona is the name of a headland on the south coast of France - in the village of Banyuls. The name means ‘Crest of the Wave’ to reflect the family-owned brewery ‘s commitment to excellence. Beers are now available at both The French Table and The French Tarte.
IPA Blond Bitter & aromatic, vegetal and fruity with a delicious bitterness on the finish abv 6%
Brune Organic, dark brown beer, rich in roasted malt with touches of coffee and spice abv 7.5%
Rousse Pale Ale Rich, deep ruby ale, roasted malt notes, gentle sweetness & smooth finish abv 6.5%
Ambrée Triple Bold amber ale with deep malt richness, aromatic complexity, rounded finish abv 7.5%
Banyuls Blond beer Their first creation. A finely fruity touch, extremely elegant abv 5.5%
Blonde Lemon Ale Light, delicate, tasty and tangy with a touch of lemon abv 3.5%
